The Moscow Suburb, or "Maskavas Forštate" is located in the south of the old City of Riga along the road connecting Riga to Moscow, from which its name is derived. This district has unique feeling. The are many beautiful wooden houses and lots of greens. If this would be the only historical district in the city, it probably would look much better. But since there are values everywhere in this city, The Moscow Suburb is often forgotten.
